The Renewable Energy Trust is a voluntary, customer-driven charitable fund established in 1993 to help develop renewable energy sources in Colorado for the benefit of local schools, nonprofits, and public/community organizations. The Renewable Energy Trust is administered by The Denver Foundation under the guidance of customers like you who are concerned about preserving our environment for generations to come.
Every dollar contributed to the Renewable Energy Trust is used to purchase and install renewable energy projects such as solar electricity systems for community organizations that would otherwise be unable to afford this technology. Funds are also used to develop educational materials and classroom curriculum to teach children about the benefits of renewable energy. Learn more.
